Restoration companies: partner with Water Damage Cleanup Crew
Water Damage Cleanup Crew connects property owners dealing with a leak, flood or burst pipe with one restoration company per county. This page explains how those requests are produced, how county territories are held and how to apply.
Restoration firms we want
We are looking for water damage restoration companies that extract standing water, set drying equipment, monitor moisture, remove damaged drywall and flooring, treat for mold where needed and coordinate with insurance adjusters. Firms with technicians trained to the industry's water damage and mold remediation standards, and with round-the-clock response, are the best fit.
Water Damage Cleanup Crew does not dry buildings. It is an independent guide published by Cornelia Cove LLC. We explain how water categories, drying time, materials and insurance coverage affect a cleanup, so the owner is ready when your crew arrives.
Independent local firms are just as welcome as franchise locations.
How owners send requests
Owners find us minutes or hours after a pipe bursts, a water heater fails, a washing machine hose splits, a roof leaks in a storm or a basement floods. Others arrive days later because they found a stain or a musty smell. They read our emergency pages, cost guides and the market pages that summarize local flood history and licensing context.
They submit the request form with name, phone, service needed, city, urgency and a description. If they used a free tool such as the cost estimator, the result is included. We only pass on requests that owners submitted themselves.
What each request includes
A person reviews every request before it is forwarded. You see contact details, location, urgency and the description, which often covers the water source, which rooms are affected, how long the water has been there and whether an insurance claim has been opened. Active leaks and standing water are flagged first.
Owners are told an independent local company may contact them. We do not present you as part of our business, and we do not quote prices or promise coverage on your behalf.
County territories, one company each, first come
Each county is held by one restoration partner. Water damage requests from inside that county go only to that partner and are not resold to other firms or to lead brokers. Licensing, flood exposure and disaster declarations are usually tracked by county and state, so counties make a clear boundary.
The first qualified firm to complete onboarding for a county holds it. If yours is already assigned, ask for a place on its waiting list or about an adjoining county that is still open. Because these owners need someone the same day, we assign only the counties you can reach fast.
Partner standards
Hold any contractor, mold or restoration license your state requires and carry liability insurance, and be ready to show proof. Document moisture readings and photos, give the owner a written scope, and never pressure anyone to sign over insurance benefits on the spot. Respond to new requests quickly and tell us about invalid or out-of-area requests.
Our pages tell owners to read any work authorization before signing. Partners who explain their paperwork clearly are the ones owners stay with.
Patterns behind water damage requests
Requests surge after freezes that split pipes, after heavy storms and tropical systems, and after spring snowmelt pushes water into basements. Between those events, the steady flow comes from failed supply lines, dishwashers, toilets and water heaters. Most owners writing to us are worried about two things: whether the water has already caused mold, and whether their insurance will pay. A partner who can explain the drying plan in plain words and help them document the loss for the adjuster usually earns the job.
Questions restoration companies ask
Do you send fire or sewage jobs? Sewage backups appear, and they are labeled in the description; fire jobs are uncommon. Do owners already have a claim number? Some do; many are still deciding whether to file. Can a firm that subcontracts rebuild work apply? Yes, as long as you tell the owner who does what.
How to apply
Fill in the request form on our contact page and begin the description with "Partner application". Include your company name, the counties you want, your certifications, any license numbers, your insurance carrier and your response hours. We reply by email.
Every arrangement is agreed individually before any request is sent. We do not publish partner pricing and do not promise request volume, which depends on weather and county demand.
